So I've been thinking about an AWD conversion for a while. Will be a long time before it happens, but looking for ideas.

Thinking about running the 4.56s and mini spool from the B2 once I get an 8.8 in it. Which means I could run a 44 housing up front with the 4.56s. I would need an independent housing and custom axles.

Will a normal 44 diff cover fit TTB 44 housing?

Had a friend Photoshop the Hoonicorn flairs on it.

Wouldn't matter, dodge and gm use standard cut gears in the front end. As long as the bearings get proper lube. Besides, I doubt he has the room for a high pinion setup...

You would be better off selling/trading for gears to fit the housing that will fit the car, not getting a housing that won't fit the car just cause it fits the gears...

So Glisson's finally got in a car with the 8.8 I need. Its a Mark VII. Hopefully everything else I pulled last year is still stashed.

Pulled the axle yesterday and stripped it in the yard. All I needed was the housing. Then grabbed my stash of parts from last year to make a "complete" axle.

Mark VII 8.8 housing, 2 driver side 31 spline Explorer shafts, and Crown Vic vented disc brakes. Will be using the IRS Explorer diff cover I picked up, and the gears and spool out of my B2.

Pulled the beast in the garage and replaced the freeze plugs and installed the new to me SVT rear bumper I picked up a while back.
