A/C compressor not coming on

Hello, newbie here and I just picked up a 2010 Limited Flex w/ a 3.5L ecoboost. The A/C compressor will not kick on - I checked the fuses and they are fine - I checked the refrigerant pressure and its actually high. I figured it would be low and thats why the compressor wouldn't come on.
- could too high of pressure make it not kick on?
- where is the pressure switch located? (ecoboost motor)

Winter is about to set in but I'd still like to fix this. Thanks in advance for any help.
