Yeah I know it's not a Ford, but I've wanted one since they came out in 07... The 4 door JK's are sweet... Finally got in a position where I could afford one with the new job plus it was time to update my DD. Had a friend looking to sell this 2012 JKU Rubi.

Specs when I bought it:
2012 Rubicon
4" Teraflex lift
Rough Country 12000 winch with syn line
Custom Front Bumper
Trek Top
35" Destination MT's
hi-lift mount on the hood
Rigid floods as Fog lights

Added Since:
UT Orange Paint! [twothumbs]
RuffStuff 1 ton steering
Synergy JK corrective steering kit (drag link flip)
UConnect touchscreen radio
Metalcloak front control arms
Yeti Cooler in the back

Plans:
Sliders added to the Rubi-Rails
Rear Metalcloak arms
RoughCountry upgraded crossmember
RoughCountry led cubes on the a-pillar (RC stuff since I won a $200 gift card and the leds on Facebook)
Rear Bumper of some sort.... Don't know yet
Smitty Fenders for awhile, till I decide to drop the coin on CrawlerConceptz

Pretty much just want a solid DD, Rock Worthy, ExpoRun rig... I drive 48 miles daily for work, it's gotta be worthy for that first and foremost.

Don't the JK rubi's come with a D44 up front standard? While the other JK's get a D30. Also, the show truck tech on spike just recently did a hemi swap into an 07 JK, you can buy the whole kit from jeep speed shop. I think they said they paid $2200 for a 08 5.7 hemi and 5 speed trans out of a wrecked 4x4 ram truck.

Hemi swaps are common in the JK world.
07-11 is the 3.8 v6
12+ is the 3.6 v6

The 3.6 is better. More power, torque at lower rpm, better MPG's

Broncos? Well.... I'm not much of a NFL fan period.

Ben, a common fix for wandering steering/death wobble is stabilizers. Looks good. Might have to come down there for a wheeling trip, that park looks fun...

Hawk Pride is fun... my favorite park so far is SMORR tho
it has a stabilizer but to me that's just a bandaid... I should be able to drive without it IMO. Hydro-Assist is the best stabilizer out there [poke]

So to catch this up to date...
I rebuilt the front axle because of a pinion slack issue and leaking axle seals. Also went with new Moog hubs, New RCV boots, Bilstein steering dampener, and a real tie rod clamp

Firestone Destination MT's. Awesome tire for a dual purpose rig. Great life, low noise, great off road. If I had a dedicated trail rig I'd get something more aggressive but for dual purpose these fit the bill perfect.

The previous owner installed the end links upside down..... So they couldn't flex and pivot right. The rear of my jeep flexes better with them flipped the right way.

when I put my rear bumper on, I needed about 1/2" of space for my rear tire... so when making a spacer I made it with the intention of making a tag holder for the center of the spare. Today, I finished that up except wiring the LEDs for the tag light...
