Britain's favourite car, the Ford Fiesta, has been declared best supermini by Business Car Manager, while the new Ford S-MAX has claimed the best people carrier award.
The Business Car Manager awards assess cars for business-relevant criteria such as durability, running costs, company car taxation and residual values. Business Car Manager is a website that provides specialist information and examples of best practices in the operation of fleet cars.
Ralph Morton, editor, Business Car Manager said: "These two Ford models thoroughly deserve these awards after meeting our stringent selection criteria. They don't cost the earth to run and hang on to a lot of their value - they are ultimately very desirable."
Kevin Griffin, director fleet operations, Ford of Britain said: "We are delighted to receive these two accolades. Ford's best-ever car range appeals to a wide spectrum of customers, including the demanding business sector, and we are thrilled that the popularity of our cars continues to result in winning awards."
