Ford is offering U.K. buyers a special-edition Fiesta S1600 with sporty livery and additional amenities. Built in a limited run of only 650 units, the Fiesta S1600 is priced from $25,350, including VAT.

The S1600 is based on the Fiesta Zetec-S and can be ordered with either a 118-horsepower 1.6-liter Duratec four-cylinder gasoline engine or 94-hp 1.6-liter Duratorq turbodiesel. A Mountune performance upgrade package also will be offered.

The Fiesta S1600 features an aero body kit that bundles a front apron, extended side skirts, rear diffuser and large rear spoiler, plus white alloy wheels. The gasoline model is fitted with 17-inch rims and the diesel gets 16s.

The exterior paint scheme comes in a choice of Frozen White or Performance Blue, with contrasting stripes.

The cabin adds stitched-leather seats, steering wheel, handbrake cover and gearshift knob, as well as branded floor mats and scuff plates.

You lucky British, you get all the good stuff. I can't complain, at least here in the U.S. we got a real European Ford. Why do car companies think we won't like this kind of stuff? Sure the ride is firm, but firm isn't the same as bad. I'd still rather be in my Fiesta on a bad road than an "American" tuned car.

I'll be nice and not tell you what I paid for gas today.

Yet another good looking fiesta that will not be making it to the US shores.

Well, if we get the 2 door models here ... then we could make a ride like that with even more boost, hehehe.

I know someone will be boosting the fiesta probably within the next year.

I like it!!!

Agreed! We need some sport HERE, all americans don't want AC , cruze control and cushy suspension .
