Hello and welcome to FiestaFly, where you the enthusiast come to discuss, share, and learn about your passion. If you have not yet signed up for an account with us, please take the time to do so now. It's quick, easy, and most importantly it's free! Becoming a member of FiestaFly allows you to take full advantage of all that we have to offer, of which we will be going into detail below. Oh and plus, when you're a registered logged in member, you'll see less banner ads! Even if you already are a member with us here at FiestaFly, please feel free to read on as you may learn about a feature or two that you didn't even realize we had! So again, welcome, we hope that you will be a part of our family and a contributing member of our community for a long time to come.
Before we touch on the key features that FiestaFly (AKA: FF or The Fly, as it's also affectionately known) offers to its members (AKA: FF'ers), we'd like take a moment to talk a bit about who we are and how we got here.
FiestaFly came about towards the middle of 2008, with a handful of Ford Focus enthusiasts who were eagerly awaiting the new Ford Fiesta destine for the North American market in 2010. With a slight nudge from Sam De La Garza, Brand Manager for the Ford Focus and Fiesta, our team of Focus Fanatics began our missions to create a new Ford Fiesta Community. We've put many sleepless hours in creating this site and hope that you'll enjoy our hard work and come to utilize FiestaFly as a premier Ford Fiesta community.
And now for a brief rundown of features and tools that are at our member's disposal, items that are all free and available to you as a registered user of FiestaFly.
Regional Forums (Coming Soon!)
This is the section of the FiestaFly Forums where you can chat with other enthusiasts in your local area. You can do things such as organize get-togethers, post about the spotting of another enthusiast, and sell or purchase parts with other local Members in conjunction with our Local Regional Classified Forums.
Buy-Sell-Trade Section (Coming Soon!)
Another extremely popular section of the FiestaFly is the Buy-Sell-Trade section. This is where the savvy enthusiast in-the-know comes to buy and/or sell their parts with other enthusiasts in the community. Choose the proper category depending on the type of item you're looking to buy or sell, and away you go!
Ford Fiesta News & Articles
As we receive the latest news and articles relating to the Ford Fiesta, we'll be adding new content to this forum. To keep the area clutter-free, we are only allowing members to reply to threads created by the FiestaFly Staff.
Ford Fiesta Discussions
For more specified topics such as detailing and cleaning, suspension and brake upgrades, and wheel and tire options, the FiestaFly technical forums are your source for answers and assistance by professionals in the industry.
Off-Topic Discussions
FiestaFly is more than just a bunch of car enthusiasts with a one-track mind, it's a family of diverse men and women with various backgrounds and heritages from all over the world. As such we tend to talk about more than just cars, and the off-topic section is the place for just that. Here you can post or read a review about a hot new movie, have a heated debate over politics or religion, or discuss just about anything else that may be on your mind.
Picture Gallery
Every FF'er gets their own member's gallery, a place to upload, store, and share your photos. With your FiestaFly account you are entitled up to 5,000 kB of storage space (approximately 15-20 photos depending on the size). Once you upload a photo, the gallery will even give you the code needed to copy and paste the image into a post on the FiestaFly Forums. It's quick and easy to share your pictures with other Ford Fiesta enthusiasts on the forums.
Member Profiles
As a member of the FiestaFly community you get your own personal profile page. It's not only a place to keep track of your forum stats, but you can share a photo of you or your car, list your favorite website, write a short biography about yourself, and share some details about your automobile(s). From one's profile page you can be contacted by other members through whatever methods you choose, such as Instant Message, Email, or Private Message (see below).
Private Messaging
Private Messaging, or PM for short, is a quick and secure way to communicate with other members outside of the forums. It is available only to registered users, each of whom gets a full-functioned PM box which can hold up to 500 messages. Similar to Email you have an Inbox and Sentbox, plus a lot of cool features such as message tracking and message confirmation.
Event Calendar
Want to know when the next big event is, or do you want to organize a local get-together in your area and let your friends know about it? Well that's what the FiestaFly Event Calendar is for. Anyone can view the calendar, but only registered users can post a public or private event.
