Here I will show you how I installed a slave cylinder to my T5 to swap it to a hydraulic setup. I am not going to show how to swap a master cylinder in because this setup is going in my Focus. I already have the pedal and master setup there.

First you will need a slave. I seen many setups online that used slaves costing $60 or more. I used a Toyota slave, part number 11887 from Autozone for $11.99.

I comes with the slave, boot, and push rod.

Next I used a 3/8 allen bolt for the push rod with a nut on both sides for adjustability. Cut the head off and rounded the end. Its final length is about 3 3/4" which puts it at the far end of its adjustability so you may want one a bit longer. You can also see the 2 holes I drilled in the bellhousing.

Then took 2 pieces of angle iron, drilled holes, and welded together. I will be adding a triangle gusset to this before finishing up.

And the final product installed (without boot). I will be taking my stock clutch line to a brake shop to have them make up one with the proper fittings.
