Nice find on the old brochure photo.

Yup, the limited run Fiesta Fly is what this site is named after.
Wow a Fiesta Fly ... interesting ... it kinda looks like the older VW Cabrio.

baller! lol
Pimpin pic. It just needs some gold EAPs lol
And a drop.....[rolleyes]
How do you think that Fiesta fly would look with tint? lol
the fly is pimpin pimpin!
I had two of those. A 1979 Orange Fiesta S and a 1980 white Fiesta S. They served me well and I kind of wish I had kept one of them.

I would like to find one to fix up and maybey put some modern low pro tires and tunner wheels on just wounder how much trouble it would be to put on regular wheel studs in place of the wheel bolts that came on these cars.
Updated the first post with a better image.
^^^That's the European model, not the U.S. version.
(Dead giveaway...right hand drive)

The original U.S. model (title of this thread) had round headlights and bigger bumpers.

Regardless, nice find on the pic. [;)]

[welcome] David!
It should be as simple as finding wheel studs with the same thread pitch and proper length to provide enough threads to protrude through the wheel for new lug nuts.
The studs may have to be permanently loc-tited in place though so they don't spin out when removing the lug nuts.
But then again, you can still buy new wheel bolts, so I don't see the urgent need to change them out.

Well then it would be even more awesome to find the US version ... and make a EURO Packaged one ...

Man ... I have been looking for a car to deck out aside from the SVT ... And I almost bought a MKII VW ... I now have a new car goal.
